7 full time work-places from the very first opening, and over 100 part time performers every and each season, offering to the public something else than disco and banal clubs as it is in Helsinki nowadays.

Tarkoituksenamme on perustaa Helsingin keskustaan kulttuuri-studio, jossa järjestetään muun muassa erilaisia musiikki-, design-, taide-, teatteri ja tanssitapahtumia. Formaatti on osa Pariisissa vuonna 2003 käynnistettyä Riverlight Sound and Vision – projektia. Formaatissa erilaiset tapahtumat taltioidaan ja välitetään internetin kautta kansainväliselle yleisölle. Tämä toimintamalli mahdollistaa Helsingin kaupungin ja yksittäisten taiteilijoiden promovoinnin ulkomaille. Pariisissa hankkeella on saavutettu hyviä tuloksia ja toiminta Suomessa tapahtuu yhteistyössä Pariisin kanssa.

Tätä tarkoitusta varten etsin 1.10 2006 alkaen n. 70–140 m2 tilaa, joka sopisi tämän kaltaiseen toimintaan. Tilat ovat käytössä viitenä päivänä viikossa erilaisia taiteellisia performansseja ja projekteja varten. Tilan tulisi täyttää n. 40-60 henkilön läsnäoloon vaadittavat turvallisuusmääräykset ja saniteettitilat. Paikassa järjestetään myös musiikkiesityksiä, joten sen sijainnin tulisi mahdollistaa toiminta ilman metelin aiheuttamia häiriöitä. Studion design rakennetaan 1960-luvun hengessä ja myös äänimaailma seuraa 1960-luvun ajankuvaa. Paikan vuokraajat vastaavat tilojen sisustuksesta.

Hankkeen koordinoijana toimii El Fatimi, joka oli mukana myös käynnistämässä Pariisin hanketta (CV liitteenä). El Fatimi on toiminut aiemmin muun muassa projektinjohtajana Softcom France S.A:ssa ja on opiskellut Suomessa Adultan (International Development Centre of Adulta) aikuiskoulutuskeskuksessa. Opinnoissaan hän perehtyi erityisesti työelamatietouteen ja suomen kieleen (Opettajien suositus liitteenä). Suomessa ollessaan El Fatimi on toiminut laajalti eri kulttuurisektoreilla. Hän on osallistunut taidefestivaalien järjestelyihin, tehnyt DJ-keikkoja ja pyrkinyt aktiivisesti edistämään 1960-luvun musiikkikulttuurin ylläpitoa. Muiden mukana olevien henkilöiden taustat liittyvät tiiviisti erilaisiin kulttuurisiin toimintasektoreihin (lista liitteenä).

Toiminnan kaksi pääelementtiä ovat: 1. mahdollisuus tuottaa yleisölle erilaisia taidekokemuksia ja elämyksiä, sekä 2. tuoda Suomalaista osaamista paremmin kansainväliseen tietoisuuteen verkkomaailman kautta. Näin hanke palvelee yksittäisiä taiteilijoita, monipuolistaa pääkaupunkiseudun kulttuuritarjontaa ja luo kansainvälisiä yhteyksiä.

Executive Summary (short view)

Riverlight Sound & Vision is planning to start a "Cultural Sixties Club" that will be the premier cultural themed sixties place in Europe representing also the challenge of prevalent attitudes, values, and practices of local artists.

Dedicated, on afternoons, to mainly local and host actors: musicians, designers, stylists and, in general, artists and media technicians too; where they can assemble, discuss, share their ideas and get inspired from the classic sixties art and culture, but also learn about the actual mainstream of popular culture between 14h30-17h30. Access is strictly reserved to Artists Club Member cardholders, A.C.M.

Riverlight Sound & Vision will provide for free that the casual can learn the basic concepts of interactive composition at the Cultural Sixties Club once a week every Tuesday 10-12h30.

The Cultural Sixties Club is open to the public from Tuesdays until Saturdays as a club and happening place where we produce new releases of the local actors and there host mentioned above and exclusively "60's collectors, sound atmosphere". The "High Art" of including dance floor sound from the rarest and priceless sixties LPs records on earth: 21-04h30.

Every first Mondays of the month, the venue will be a place where stylists and designers can meet, show and propose their monthly work to the center shopkeepers. 17-21h30.

Our goal is to remain a step ahead of our competition through an exemplary service provision. Since consumers think of atmosphere, price, and quality respectively, we expect our guests to have more fun while enjoying the rarest cultural records collectors on the market as well as sixties visuals and design. But also experiencing a transition atmosphere to actual challenges as the productions and innovations of actual performers and actors: live musicians, stylists, designers and media technicians.

Every first Saturday of the month, in collaboration with Universities and high schools of Technology, Art & Design , as well as other alternative stylists, we will produce a fashion-show that will attract the interest of local media in particular local Television.

The "Cultural Sixties Club" is also an important vector for promoting internationally local actors abroad through an Internet Broadcast TV using real time streaming on the web that will be transmitted @ http://www.elf1.com and surely with periodic productions on ARTE "German & French cultural TV".

The keys to success in achieving our goals are: Provide exceptional service that leaves an impression. A consistent cultural entertainment atmosphere and product quality. Managing our internal finances and cash flow to enable upward capital growth. Strict control of all costs at all times, without exception.

The main objectives of the development of this new venue are: We hope to capitalize on excellent location opportunity with swift commitment to the city-center development. To maintain tight control of costs, operations, and cash flow through diligent management and automated computer control.
